This is a new section where I will mention upcoming plans I hav for Ashby Falls...
Ok so not a whole lot of it is planned, as far as the story goes, it plans itself, this is more, like town plans.
So, in the works we have:
Medical Clinic/Hospital - I think I like the idea of a hospital more, sounds more authoritive. It will be residential with a doctor to run it... maybe a nurse as well as Ashby Falls grows.
Fire Station - This will also be residential. I have a fire fighter career, so that should work well. Perhaps 1 - 2 firemen to start with, and a dog of course :)
Schools - Probably just one at first, K - 12
More Clubs - Single Parents Club, Artists Club, when theres more families a New Parents Club, Orphaned Kids Society, Oldies Club, Gamblers Annonomous, and lots more... this all relies on having more residents in the town though.
University - There are 2 uni hoods, but there is nothing there at the moment.
What have you got planned for your hood in the near future?

Let me know how your hospital goes. I tinkered with trying a residential hospital, but was too overwhelmed with the idea of moving in pregger Sims each time to have their babies.
ReplyDeleteFSBS hoods can be overwhelming at times, as may already know. LOL!
its very overwhelming lol! But I do love it! I was thinking of giving sims the choice of a "home birth" which solves that problem, and maybe only send them to the horpital if they have the flu or are insane (although there are also pplans for an asylum), havent really thought about it a whole lot which is why it hasnt been built yet. The fire station will be easier I think.
ReplyDeleteApple Valley has a host of building projects in the pipeline. They just incorperated Apple Valley Metro-my urban downtown. I still have a few more lots (my boardwalk, urban loft, cheap apartments) to tweak in that subhood. Then Apple Plains, a rural farming subhood, is in construction. This will allow AV to become more of a middle class/upscale suburb, AVM will be the urban mecca, and AP will serve as the rural farming community. Pierce University has a few more lots that need to be tweaked such as the academic quad.
ReplyDeleteSince I am so far ahead of rotations and plenty of posts in the hopper, then I want to focus on building more.
Far as the clinic-AVs clinic does at-home births, so the doctor is teleported to the home for the birth, paid and leaves. I think I will start making the doctor stay for a few hours feeding and bathing the newborn before leaving.
Wow I love your clinic idea! Apple Valley sounds like its growing, I love the idea of the urban and farming areas!
